For those who care...

This was shot with a Tamron 28-75mm zoom at 28mm. I flipped the camera to portrait mode, locked the exposure to manual, and took a series of 11 photographs from left to right (handheld), using the line where the domed roof meets the stadium walls to help me keep it more-or-less level.

Autostitch then assembled them all for me in about 2 minutes. A little levels correction in Photoshop and that's all I did to it.

Autostitch is, in itself, a great reason to keep a Windows-based machine sitting around. Wish there was a MAC piece of software that could make panoramas as stupid-easy as this!
