I had a 20" Fujimoto in the colour darkroom that was apparently a notorious
machine for sweating.

I kept the paper out in the fridge and the lenses on the shelf outside the room
when they weren't being used. I had a dehumidifyer going all the time, which
hauled awful brown slush out of the air.

All this reminds me of why I hate the colour darkroom.

What are you guys doing, setting up saunas?
If you've got a moisture problem in a darkroom, wrecking a boombox is the
least of your worries. I'd be more worried about damaging lenses, enlarger
electronics, and growing mold in boxes of paper.
