I would agree with that. Although compared to even a drum scan of a 6x7
neg, the Epson scan of a 4x5 is superior.

My Epson 3200 has a film holder for 4x5, so moire is not a problem.
I'm
sure the newer Epsons come similarly equipped. I've scanned 4x5 at
3200
dpi, and the results are superb.
