This is a bit of hyperbole. While Pentax has done a fantastic job in this
regard, M and K series lenses make most of the bodies lose multi-segment
metering. My understanding is that the ZX-50 and ZX-30 will not meter all
together. That being said, I hope the compatibility will extend to the
digital body. I love the idea of being able to use the K105/2.8 on the
MZ-digital!

Pentax has been a little inconsistent in other areas too. For example....

-- The introduction of the MZ-S. It looks nothing like the other MZ series
bodies. Don't get me wrong, I like how it looks but it doesn't fit with the
other MZ bodies. Also, it's the first time an MZ body isn't called ZX in the
US. Why didn't they call it the ZX-S?
-- Then there's the silver Limited lens line-up. Wonderful lenses but they
go with...NOTHING by Pentax.

There are more surprises on the way I'm sure... : )
