They're both very good lenses. I prefer the wider field of view of
the DA14 and find it superior due to equal sharpness, the wider angle
of view and better correction. But you can judge whether it might be
suitable for you from my informal test examples:

As the page says, "These photos are presented with near-default RAW
conversion parameters direct to [EMAIL PROTECTED] JPEG, sRGB files. No
sharpening or other adjustments have been applied." You can click on
the IMGP2227 file in the list at the bottom and play with a RAW file
if you so desire (DNG format only). f/4.5-f/5.6 is where the lens
hits its optimum performance, although it's quite satisfactory even
wide open, imo.
