I don't know about whether a different calibration will increase or decrease vision fatigue for you on your equipment. I'm more concerned with whether I get accurate, consistent color balance for printing. The setup and calibration I'm using at present proves to be a very good match to the Epson R2400 and its paper profiles.

I would strongly recommend a good hardware calibration utility. Oftentimes the software provided with them provides more adjustability than you can accomplish manually, and it is far more consistent to use a hardware solution than to use your eyes.

Godfrey, I tried and noticed that if I increase gamma it decreases contrast

I have a ViewSonic 19'' VP191b, and it doesn't have the gamma correction, so
I have to go to the video card settings. I use glasses so do you think
The decrease in contrast will help to decrease vision fatigue?
