Hi Tom,

I used an AF version of the lens, so it may not be the same as the MF
version.  I do, however, believe I'm more critical than many other
people on the list.  However, my comments were very specific caveat:
that the lens was used at its widest apertures.  I was dissatisfied
with the light falloff, which I estimated to be at about a stop.  I
wouldn't have a clue as to whether the sample I used was poor or not. 
The owner of the lens, a sometimes list member and contributor, agreed
with my observations about the light falloff, but he found it
acceptable based on his needs and use of the lens.
