Cheapest I can remember is 11 cents a gallon if you pumped it yourself (by hand), 13 if he did. Cost around $2 to top off my '52 Ford Convertible's tank. That however was a dime cheaper than at a regular gas station where they had electric pumps and all that (circa 1961).

It is $2.919/gal here right now, and I thought that was bad.
