Assuming they use the same cards (does the Canon you killed take SD cards? or CF cards? The DS body uses SD cards)...
- Be sure to download all photos to your computer first. - Reformat the card in the DS body. BTW: If you're getting a DS body, also be sure to install the Firmware v2.0 update, available from the Pentax USA website. DS2/DL/ DL2 bodies don't have any updates yet, this brings the firmware on the DS up to the same functionality as the other three.
