There's a card in (properly turned off, not causing a problem for the last four 
months) but the router is too far away to wire it easily.  As I say, I have 
internet access for my mail client, just not for browsing.  I might reinstall 
Exploder and see what happens.  Going to look at some other malware scanners, 
too.

Don't know why I wrote "desktop browser" above.  It's internet browser.
