I've been using the Mac version practically from day one. Meanwhile, my library has grown to slightly over 10,000 RAW-files (.pef) and some 10,000 scanned pictures (.tif). The speed is OK on my 2 x 1.8 GHz G5. I have never used your PS workflow so I can't really compare. All I can say is I'm quite happy with Lightroom. Just praying that the price will remain affordable even for an amateur like me. I'd hate to be reduced to some kind of 'Elements' version with only 8 bit and other such nuisances. Ralf -- Ralf R.
