They are not being paranoid.

It CAN happen. It DOES happen.

It IS stupid but, as Aaron's story illustrates, it can still 
wreck a person's life. It may be worst in the US (I wouldn't 
know) but it also occurs in the UK and Australia.

Forget pictures, possession of certain types of pornographic 
STORIES is a criminal offense where I live.

Yesterday, as I was driving to work, I passed a young kid playing 
naked (and quite innocently) outside his house (as the climate is 
warm, this is not uncommon and rarely remarked on). Having a 
picture of such a scene might be regarded as an offense by some 
prosecutors.

Is this crazy? Of course it is.

That does not, however, protect anyone who gets caught up in this 
craziness.

A warning is the sensible thing to do.
