Considering the Prius gets only slightly worse fuel efficiency numbers 
than a Golf TDI, you really need to check your numbers again. The AUdi 
A6 gets FAR worse fuel milage than what you are quoting. I've got a 
friend with the 95 S6 and he'd be very happy to break 30mpg, while the 
Prius gets 45+ (EPA MPG ratings are problematic with hybrids and 
overstate fuel economy for them, but they're a good guideline for 
regular cars).
