This was talked about , on the Nikon D1 BB, when people started  
aquiring their 10mp Nikons, D2X and D200, was that camera shake became  
more noticable with the jump from 4-10 mp.

Its not an issue they say if the old shutter rule is applied( keep  
shutter at least to lens focal lenght) and or VR lenses used.

I have noticed nothing out of the ordinary going from 4-10mp but i  
tend to use the VR on the 70-200 a lot, and high shutter, so maybe  
thats why.

Just something to keep in mind with the K10D unless you have  
investigated this already.
Is the K10D equiped with the IS sensor to, or just the K100D and K110D.
