Here is my simple take on it: I love the *istD - but it could have a few improvements. More megapixels, bigger buffer - slightly faster frame rate. Better handling of TTL Flash (no pre-flashing crap though).
I like the current ergonomics with two dials and the grip. I love HyperManual.
