I think it's that simple as far as the K100D is concerned. You cannot argue with the success :-). Just a few years ago, there were enough doubters that Pentax could even offer any DSLR. Then they declared that digital era is the opportunity, and started rather "un-Pentax like" effort to be bolder in offering new and excellent products. Now they are closing in and even competing with N/C in certain market segment, and it appears that more fun would be coming. Good for them, and good for us :-).
