If you mean what Pentax call the "snap-in-focus" function then the answer is
yes. As for other brands I couldn't say.
What I would like to know is whether any Pentax cameras have predictive
focus when using this function. My Z1 doesn't appear to. I've tried it on
a subject moving toward me and the shutter seemed to fire late. DOF ensured
the prints still came out OK.
