   Hi Nenad,

   Perhaps not predictive focus but it's still fast enough for me.
   I took pictures in relatively narrow depth of field conditions
   (200mm focal length, f/4, 5 meters away), of a subject running
   towards me and trap focus nailed it right in the middle of DOF.

   I once set up a macro project with camera on continuos shooting,
   mounted on tripod with remote release locked on. Despite the high
   magnification (around 1:1.5) all bees came out in focus.

   I'd say trap focus works quite well.
