The only modification I made was a gentle nudge to the tonal balance with the Curves tool. No sharpening, no other work. Of course, I worked from Shel's JPEG image which mean that it was recompressed again when I saved it, so you are seeing an increase in artifacts from multiple JPEG compression passes.
