No, I'm not kidding. The specs on the K100 series don't impress me,
nor do the latest batch of Pentax lenses. I'm going to keep my best
Pentax lenses and the *istD, so If Pentax decides to someday put out a
body that is worth my money, I will snap it up in a heartbeat. The 3rd
party glass thing is just a symptom of a larger problem. Bottom line
is that I'm sick of waiting for Pentax to put out products that I
actually want. I still love my existing glass, but I think three years
is long enough to wait for a new body.

In the meantime, I have my eye on the Nikon D200. I'm going to go look
at one this weekend. I'm not certain I'm going to go to Nikon, because
I want to wait for the camera shows, but I'm hoping to start a new
system by the end of the year. I spent last weekend researching lenses
for both Canon and Nikon and I'm satisfied that I can get what I need
for either system, although I will certainly miss my Ltd glass. :)

Cotty, Nate thinks that the 20D would be almost a step sideways from
the *istD, although if I decide to go with Canon, I'll probably start
with the 20D and go from there.
