It was 1999-2000 when I was looking for a change. What I wanted at
the time was a new top of the line body to replace my old F3/T ...
and the F4/F5 were just too freekin big and heavy, didn't like the
controls. For a less than TOL, the F100 was larger than I liked. The
FM3a looked interesting but wasn't much different from my FMs and FE2
to warrant an upgrade.

Right or wrong thing to do, I dunno. I have not regretted my
decisions of the time. It's led me to where I am today, and I'm quite
happy with what I'm shooting with now.

If I had to move, I could go with a D200 pretty easily ... a fairly
complete kit for my needs would be a body and three/four lenses which
isn't such an awful amount of money, business wise .. but I'm
optimistic that the 10Mpixel Pentax will do everything i need and
actually be superior with its in-body AS. And of course the fabled
mysterious Super Feature. ;-)
