European politicians and the security industry are again doing their
best to save the world.
Now, they're fencing off river and canal harbours in the German and
Belgian hinterlands. Roll out the barbed wire and bring up the CCTV
cams! No more loopholes for those nasty terrorists to capture a river
barge and set sail to cross the seas!
And no more chance for us to take photographs. :-(
Need I tell you that all this fencing and surveillance stuff is a
billion-dollar business?
