I have just read that Pentax have stuck with 6 MP for their K100D. I
crop many of my photos taken with my 7.1 MP camera because I can't
yet get a digital SLR. I was planning to get a Pentax digital camera
and possibly use the tele lens from my Pentax film cameras but I
thought I could crop more heavily with a higher number of MPs. I
assume the photo quality must be good for Pentax to continue using 6
MP, but I thought cropping would be more limited with the 6 MP than
with more MPs. Why is Pentax staying with the 6?

Thanks
Mike
