While Pentax has two or three 6mpx cameras, they have also just come out
with a 10mpx camera, the K10D.  You can read about it here:

The 6mpx cameras have been great, and for may they are sufficient for the
work that they do, and they are also priced well and make a great
introduction to DSLR cameras, but some people want more advanced features
and more mpx's, so the K19D was introduced.
