If anyone is interested, Western Union was the telegraph company in the US and was the quickest way to transfer money. But when was the last time anyone sent a telegram? If you go down to a big truck stop you will find that there a least a half dozen companies that will wire money that you can pick up at another truck stop about anywhere in the US or Canada, all of them far more reliable than Western Union which has become a type of money order that you can get at those fly by night check cashing places.
