We can do them as a standard electronic transaction using internet banking. I just checked my bank's website - bank transfers done via internet banking are free of charge. I have an old account still active at another bank (mainly for the credit card); they charge NZ$0.40 for transfers, but I suspect you'd get transaction fees waived if you have a mortgage with them (proper competition is good; if only our telcos were like that). Sending money overseas is entirely different, though. The last time I did this I just bought the foreign currency and posted cash (it was only a small amount). Normally I prefer to use the credit card or PayPal, as the bank fees tend to be quite high. - Dave -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
