Good Eyed, Ann Sun ;-) You have already got good advice. So let me just chime in and say that you have my sympathy. It is frustrating when the technique fails, and double frustrating when a techie guy is the one to blame. My advice is to remember - It's just a computer. I know it's important to you, but - Think about all the good books you can read, while the list gets an excellent opportunity to talk a bit behind your back ;-)

I'm frustrated, scared and angry. May or may not be able to get a friend over tomorrow to assess the situation - meanwhile I cant do any real work IF any of you guys taht are either night owls or on the west coast and are really savvy about windoze 98se and port management have any idea where i should start to restore the conenctions, I'd be mroe than grateful If I could talk to you over the phone my non dime of course.
