Ok, I know... Get a mac... I get it. just can't right now. My PC is a P4 1.7 (don't know the FSB speed) and I've got 504MB of DDR DIMM RAM (not sure of the speed there either)
Without switching motherboards, I can move up to around P4 3.0 with an 800Mhz FSB and hyper-threading for about $85. How would one describe the improvement is speed here? 1-10 with ten being "waoh, that's the best $85 I ever spent!" I could, of course, also get more memory. Thanks for any help.
