Focal length is focal length. A 100mm lens produces the same field of view regardless of whether it has a Pentax K-mount or a Pentax 645 or Pentax 6x7 mount, once it's been adapted to the body. A 100mm lens will produce the field of view equivalent to a 150mm lens on a 35mm film SLR body. > Are the adapters a new release or have they been around for some time?
