I have a Compaq desktop machine (p2 300 I think) which has a solenoid in the chassis. You can set it to lock in the BIOS, and without the password (or some crafty BIOS hacking) you'd have to drill a hole in the case to ever get it open again. I never activated it, because if the BIOS ever crapped out I'd be completely up the creek.
