It probably would have, but unfortunately not at 15mm :( It's largely a scanning issue: the sky is also white on the slide because the weather was overcast, but it was hard to deal with such a wide dynamic range while scanning. I want a DSLR that comes with an auto- bracket-to-HDR function. I do have a split ND, but I don't think I've ever used it. I dislike the fact that I have no choice as to where the split occurs.
