I have a K 85/1.8, a K 135/2.5, a K 50/1.4, a K 105/2.8, a K 28/3.5, a K24/3.5, an M 200/4 and an M35/2 -- I once had many more K and M lenses. The ones I still have I use on my *istD quite effectively. I don't need an aperture simulator. (I also have a Vivitar Series 1 90/2.5 macro (the first version). It's the equal of Pentax lenses, save for the coatings. It also works fine on the *istD. I use it quite often.) I use A, DA and FA lenses as well. No problem with any of my lenses. Rage on, JCO. Tell me I'm an ignorant moron! Paul On Oct 12, 2006, at 8:50 PM, J. C. O'Connell wrote:
