Don't you think Pentax would like to have plenty of K10D's for sale ASAP? This is a brand new camera, one of the most sophicated Pentax has produced. A slight delay won't be totally unexpected. And this is not by choice, even giants such as Microsoft and Sony with all their financial might can have repeated delays. And even without this delay, the initial production figure would never be able to satisfy the initial demand anyways.
