I used the M42 Vivitar 70-210 F3.5... and I am looking for the K mount version
the color rendering is great ! the 3.5 nearly make you forget about the problem
of zoom and darkness. Yes it's big, but the feeling of it is way worth it. also
check if you have the macro mode on it.

I have this lens with the 67mm filter mount (the first model) in both
the screw and K mount. I don't go anyplace without one of them.
Stopped down to 5.6 they are very sharp. It is heavy, but over the
past 20-30 years, I have gotten used to it. I don't think you can beat
it for the money. I bought one of mine on ebay for $75. The second
edition with the 62mm filter mount is almost as good, but I still
prefer the 67mm model.
