People cant live without.

BUT, (you fool), if AE modes are important like your
Claiming, why does it make any sense to REMOVE
The only AE mode the K/M lenses have? It doesn't make
Sense at all. A/F/FA lenses have 3 possible AE
Modes and K/M have one only possible AE mode. Removing
That one possible AE mode they have is dumb...

Features like Programmed AE, shutter preferred AE, auto focus (thats a 
real biggies).
None of these are things that are supported by K/M lenses.
