Good point. It makes more sense to move the registration distance back, 
thereby allowing a K mount to be used via a short extension tube.
The throat could even be somewhat smaller than a K mount.
This gives some nice possibilities, in that the present lenses could 
still be supported via an electro mechanical coupler in the adptor.
