It is not reduced DOF. DOF is the same when you have the same  
magnification scale even if you compare 28 mm and 200 mm (you have to  
come much closer with shorter lens to achieve the same picture in  
frame as in case of long optics). It is perspective in case of photos  
from DA 77 that makes out of focus elements bigger and optically more  
blurred than the ones from DA 70. If you would do the same photo  
maintaining magnification then 85 mm would enhance this effect and  
200 mm would do it to even greater extent.
