I couldn't work with that lens. It alone weighs more than the *ist DS a lens or even two. Fitted to the Canon 10D, it was like carrying a bucket of lead around. Great performer, excellent hood design ... except that it will only fit in the very largest bags available on the market with the hood fitted, ready to pull put and use at a moment's notice. A beast of a lens. I sold it and used a 28/1.8 and 50/1.4 instead. BTW: I'm finally selling out of my Canon gear. I have just a few things left: Canon 10D body Canon EOS-IX body Canon EF 22-55 lens with hood Canon 420EX flash unit Canon EOS 12 and 24 mm extension tubes Canon flash extension cable Canon Right Angle Finder C Lensbaby EOS mount (goofy lens but occasionally fun) All in at least excellent condition. They're going up on Ebay, but if anyone here needs/wants any of this let me know. Godfrey -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
