I borrowed "The Medium Format Advantage" by Enrst Wildi from the local library the other day and it is very informative. The book was published in 1995. I've just reached the chapter on Digital Imaging and Medium Format and it is almost quaint.
I quote: "Image processing programs run faster when there is a large amount of RAM available. Plan on at least 16 MB of RAM. If you want to do commercial work, plan on more. Just as you will need plenty of RAM when processing your images, you will need a large-capacity hard disk for storing your images. At lease 300 MB is a good starting place." :) James -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
