Yesterday, while strolling through downtown Kensington, a fellow stopped me and commented about the camera I was using. Well, not so much that, but he saw the camera and mentioned he liked to photograph as well, and said that he had a few Pentaxes and a lot of lenses. I showed him that I was using a Pentax, and the conversation took off from there. He's an film user, shooting mostly with his LX and earlier Pentax cameras, as well as some med format work. He was somewhat curious about the DSLR, and was quite impressed/astonished when he found out that all his old glass (mostly K and M lenses) would work on the current crop of digital cameras. Nonetheless, he's sticking with film ;-))
I'm running into more and more film shooters these days, both folks who have never moved to digital and those who have but have decided to move back to film or incorporate more film use in their photography.
