Hi Godfrey Work indeed meens something else for me as well as I would never say that an 8 year old boy is studying. He may be playing around or exploring... We start to "study" at the age of twenty here at the University .... That must be the language barrier or simple one of the misunderstandings from my side on the fine details of the English ;-) or American language. greetings Markus

That means I worked with film cameras. Or "used" film cameras if the word "worked" offends you. They are synonymous in English, in this context. There is an error in the statement, however: it should be 1964, not 1962. ;-) Godfrey On Nov 5, 2006, at 5:11 AM, Markus Maurer wrote: > Hi Godfrey > You really did WORK in 1962? > I did not know you where that age.... > greetings > Markus > >>> that, I worked with film cameras from 1962 to 2002 ... long >>> enough to >>> have a lot of empathy and nostalgia for the endeavor. > > I'm interested in that psychological rift and how it affects the > experience and expression of photography.
