Thanks Paul. Yes, I decided that creating a recess for the plate was not
only beyond my woodworking skills, but alos beyond my patience threshold!
It does stand ever so slightly proud - by the thickness of the plate in
fact, which is 1mm or thereabouts. It certainly doesn't bother me. It
does feel much better than the B, although I have not had the pleasure of
the Grip A, so I can't compare, but then - are any two As the same ??
