Just one question: what kind of paint you used for the black finish?
I have a Grip A that I shaped really nicely, but I don't like the browny
colour.
I thought about painting it, but I don't know what kind of paint to use
that is resistant enough to usual handling. (I know yours is wood and mine
is plastic, but maybe your paint can be used in plastic too)
