Shel, of course it was said in jest, I'm sure they would have received at least 30 units :-) We knew that there would be supply issues and after these first shipments I guess we'll see just how good they are. The camera isn't available in Australia until the end of the month, why this is I have no idea, but I'm very sure we'll have greater problems with supply here then in the US. Our local distribution agency is renown for it. > Pentax, for the first time in quite some time, has the potential to make > some real progress, hopefully without backsliding too much. You seem to have weathered the storm well but those of us who elected to retain our *ist D bodies until something that was a real upgrade came out have been left hanging for some time. Financially Pentax are still dog paddling, as compared to its major competitors and as such aren't preferred stocks. -- Rob Studdert HURSTVILLE AUSTRALIA Tel +61-2-9554-4110 UTC(GMT) +10 Hours [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://home.swiftdsl.com.au/~distudio//publications/ Pentax user since 1986, PDMLer since 1998 -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
