This bird was only 10 or 12 pounds. There were only four of us for
dinner, so we had enough for all of us, plus plenty of leftovers.

We have made the stuffing outside the bird for the last few years. My
mother made the stuffing and brought it over. This year we tried
something new - put strips of bacon across the top of the turkey,
stuffed the body cavity with fresh herbs and put the bird insde a
basting bag. It was delicious.
