To crash the plane out in the wilds of western PA makes no sense compared to
the rest of the attack.  I believe that the crew did something to keep the
terrorists from taking control of the plane, even crashing it themselves...

If they recover the black boxes maybe we will know more.

That exact scenario crossed my mind.  If that's the case, they are heroes.

As we sift through all of what's happened today, there will undoubtedly be
thousands of heroes recognized, many of them posthumously.  Like what appear
to
be dozens or even hundreds of NYC firefighters who died, trying to evacuate
the
WTC when it collapsed.
