I have a whole bunch of LP versions too including the MFSL
and the MFSL UHQR which is now about a $500 LP. I dont own any version
on CD, just SACD. The best possible version to get in
stereo is the original issue LP on the UK harvest Label
with the outline triangle/prism, not the solid triangle/prism. I heard
it at a friends house on a near $50K system and it's
very very good.

Hi JCO
I will listen to it the next time I enter the "MediaMarket", sounds
promising. I do not have a SACD player but understand that there is
always a "normal CD player" version on it too. Still, having it on Vinyl
is something special, just look at the lovely covers, that pleasure and
culture got lost with the CD format for sure ;-)

greetings
Markus

Hell, you can get the full 5.1 channel mix SACD of DSOTM now.
I have it and its pretty amazing. It came out in 2003
for the 30th anniv. of the LP.

There is an audiophile record version of "Darkside of the moon" from
MSFL and also a pseudo quadrophonic recording of "Atom heard mother"
from another label. The LP "dark side of the moon" from MSFL contains
fine very silent details not hearable on the "normal" CD. Listening to
it on Lexicon surround equipment and eletrostatic headphones is
wonderful, one large speakers at high volume it is an incredible
adventure
:-)
greetings
Markus

Meddle was the first CD I ever bought, and I still own the one I bought,
scratched to hell but still playable. Dark Side of the Moon was probably
the second or third CD I bought.

And Echoes is still one of those songs that I can close my eyes to, and
just kind of forget about the world for 23 and a half minutes.

If I _really_ listen to pretty much any Pink Floyd album, I'll still
pick up on nuances and sounds that I never noticed were there. The same
is true of the Roger Waters solo stuff, especially "Amused To Death"
which is well worth a listen.
