I'm shooting primarily with zooms because I'm still building my prime
collection and Pentax doesn't yet make a couple of the primes I'd want
(especially a 16mm f2.8). And the two zooms I use are inexpensive and
excellent (16-45 and A 70-210). They make for a good ultra-light kit as
well, when matched with a small fast lens in the 35-50mm range.

My next two Pentax lenses will be primes, the 21 and 70 limiteds. After
that, I intend to buy the DA* 50-135 for studio use (it's got all the
portrait lengths covered, and f2.8 has shallow enough DoF for that) and
then fill out my system with A, DA or D-FA primes (I'm not terribly
interested in F or FA lenses as they lack Quick-Shift focus, I'd rather
give up AF than QSF, I also find the focus ring design on F and FA
lenses to be poor due to the lack of any grip). The 14 DA nad the
upcoming 35 and 55 DA's are seriously interesting, especially if the
latter lenses are f1.4 or faster.

Pentax needs to add a few lenses to its lineup. A 16mm DA, a 24mm f2 or
faster, a 28mm f2 pancake (or at least smallish like the 50mm f2) and a
90mm f2 or 2.8 (preferably a f2). Those will allow me to cover my
preferred focal lengths (24-135mm) with primes.
