Who designed the Pentagon anyway and when? I wonder
why they didn't just paint a large target on the top.
I mean, it is kind of out there in the open a bit, and
so large and close to the sea. I don't think I would
have chosen to work there. Although I am saying this
in hindsight, and I feel terrible for all the people
who did choose to work there, and their families. I
can't even imagine losing one of my colleagues, but to
lose so many at once.

I can't help thinking of a very popular computer game
at the moment, Command & Conquer. In one of the
missions, you play the Russians, and your job is to
completely destroy the Pentagon. I didn't think for a
second that someone might actually put that into
practise. I can't remember what the other missions
are. Don't know if the WTC was one. I wonder if
anyone else has thought of this game.

Tragic, tragic day. It is past midnight and I can't
sleep.

Jody.
