Part of the problem was walking down to the river, there were big, big stones and it was hard for me to get balanced. But it the three times I went there I only saw 2 other people do it too. Even though that particular view was now partly blocked by a tree-high bush. New policy, I heard later in Yosemite, let nature take it's course and do not interfere. At that rate a lot of the previous designated views will disappear behind new growing trees. Yes, you know I kept expecting to see them in B&W. Look up and expect to see them in B&W. LOL.
